The next W2021 cohort runs from September 7th - December 7th, 2021.
The first priority deadline is Tuesday, May 4th, 2021.
Apply for 90-Day Startup
It doesn't help to be constantly reminded that most products end up failing anyway.
All those who wander are not lost.
We often characterize the early stages of a product as the messy beginning, but it doesn't have to be that way.
With the right mindsets and thinking processes, the early stage can be systematically traversed much like you would a labyrinth.
The objective is getting out of the maze with an idea (or business model) that works before running out of resources.
Yes, there are twists and turns, dead-ends, and back-tracking, but unlike the picture above this one is less wasteful.
That is what we teach you how to do and why we built 90-Day Startup.
You can participate as an individual or as a team.
"Before this program, I had goals set, but, I didn't have a clear understanding of how or when I needed to achieve those goals."
With 90-Day Startup, we have reimagined a completely different learning model: one that combines best-in-class entrepreneurial education, online tools, teamwork, deliberate practice, and external accountability.
90-Day Startup is about mindset change.
When it comes to leveling-up on entrepreneurial education there is no shortage of options.
You could
90-Day Startup is different.
The key to learning anything is creating space for deliberate practice and establishing external accountability. The reason relying on books and workshops alone fall short is come-Monday, it's back to business as usual.
Old habits die hard.
In 90-Day Startup, participants are held accountable to their team through the project delivery commitments they make during the business modeling and rollout planning phases of the program.
Certified coaches help facilitate, steer, and reinforce these commitments through real-time feedback and interaction with teams delivered over a regular cadence of coaching sessions.
Hackathons and startup weekend like experiences barely scratch the surface on what it takes to build products that go on achieve product/market fit.
Innovation succeeds when you create something unique at the intersection of desirability, viability, and feasibility... and 3 days simply isn't enough time to focus on all three.
90 days versus 3 days.
90 days is the right timebox for
This is true for any type of product (software, hardware, or a service) in any industry.
Working with existing ideas is often mired in existing biases, sunk cost fallacies, and a shroud of confidentiality — all of which limit teams from taking off their blinders and really see the world of possibilty.
Succeeding with innovation, today, is no longer driven by differing skillsets, but different mindsets.
The challenge today isn't "Can we build it?", but rather "Should we build it?".
Starting with a clean slate helps participants check their constraints at the door — making it easier for them to see the world in a completely new way and rewire their foundational mindsets.
90-Day Startup is a personal accelerator where you invest in transforming yourself before your idea.
Once you learn to see the world differently, you can then readily apply this new lens to growing an existing product or launching a new product thereafter.
Good teams quickly recognize and kill off bad ideas and eventually find good ideas. Bad teams can’t tell a good idea from a bad idea and they either stick with bad ideas for too long or hopelessly fumble good ideas.
The early stage is won with good teams versus good ideas.
The early stage is riddled with extreme uncertainty and successfully navigating this terrain requires a diversity of ideas. This is why we invest heavily in teams over ideas in this program. You'll learn how to put together a high-performing team that effectively designed to quickly source, rank, and test ideas.
Already have a team? You can participate as a team to jumpstart a new or existing company project.
Some of the most successful companies were started as side-projects. 90-Day Startup is delivered 100% online and designed to be taken part-time. This means you can attend from anywhere and don't need to quit your day job to participate.
We recommend allocating 10-15 hours / week to get the most out of this program.
The key to finding the next big idea isn't working longer hours, but focusing your scarcest constraint, time, on the few key actions that drive the biggest impact.
What sets this program apart is that it is taught and led by practicing entrepreneurs. We practice what we teach and the more we coach, the more we learn and share, the better results everyone gets. Everything in this program (content, tools, coaching) has been meta-recursively tested using every principle, technique, and tool in the program.
90-Day Startup was built by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs and it shows.
"This program not only changed my approach to building my startup, but it made sure I was focusing on loving the problem and not the product, and constantly reminding myself that the product is the whole business model and not just the MVP itself."
The next program runs from September 7th - December 7th, 2021

90-Day Startup teaches you a systems approach to driving repeatable awareness and interest to your products and services -- before building them.
This is exactly how we, at LEANSTACK, have launched all our products over the years -- from best-selling books (Running Lean and Scaling Lean) to popular tools used by millions of people (Lean Canvas, Traction Modeler, Customer Forces Canvas).
Establishing demand for your product before you build your product is the first step to take when launching a new product.

90-Day Startup was created by Ash Maurya, author of 2 best-selling books and the creator of the Lean Canvas.
Ash is praised for offering some of the best and most practical advice for entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs all over the world. Driven by the search for better and faster ways for building successful products, Ash has developed a continuous innovation framework for raising the odds of early product success built upon principles and techniques drawn from Lean Startup, Business Modeling Design, Design Thinking, Jobs-to-be-Done, Behavioral Science, and Systems thinking. He regularly hosts sold out workshops around the world and serves as a mentor to several accelerators including TechStars, Capital Factory, and guest lecturers at several universities including MIT, Harvard, and UT Austin. Ash serves on the advisory board of a number of startups, and has consulted to new and established companies.
90-Day Startup incorporates learning across hundreds of workshops and thousands of hours of coaching startup and corporate teams building products spanning a broad spectrum of domains ranging from banking to software.
The tools, curriculum, and coaching systems used in 90-Day Startup have already been deployed and battle-tested across numerous enterprises, startup and corporate accelerators, and universities around the world.
We have put hundreds of teams through this program across the world. Here are some of their stories:
This program is hands-on. More than 75% of your time is dedicated to launching a product using timeless principles and battle-tested tactics -- allowing you to practice what you learn.
Tuition is $3,999, and most large companies will reimburse you (ask your HR team).
If you're a student, work at a qualifed non-profit, or a startup with under 5 employees and less than $2 million in funding, you qualify for discounted pricing. Tuition is $2,499 or 6 monthly payments of $499 for the 90-day program.
Want to attend as a team and work on an internal company project that you bring in? We offer a group discount of 20% to a team of 5 members working on the same project. Team members are kept together on the same project.
If you're ready to level up your entrepreneurial thinking, we invite you to apply.
There's no time better than the present to start.
"If you're interested in entrepreneurship/innovation, forget going to Harvard Business School (FYI, I am an MBA graduate of HBS). Apply these concepts instead. Had I done so, I know I would have saved myself much time, money, and the attendant dead brain cells."

We find 90-days is just the right amount of time that lets you create a significant enough traction goal and enough time for running meaningful experiments towards achieving that goal. Your coach will help you establish your 90-day traction goal during week 1 and steer you towards that goal during the program.
We subscribe to Jeff Bezos' 2-pizza rule and form cross-functional teams of 5 people with an overlapping mix of hackers, hustlers, and designers.
Yes. If you already have a multi-disciplinary team of 3-5 people and would like to work together on the same company project, you can particate as a team. Teams of 5 people get a 20% group discount on pricing. This is perfect for startups or innovation teams that want to use this program to jumpstart their own internal projects.
For the same reason that we attend schools and universities, or elite athletes hire coaches -- for experience, advice, and external accountability.
That's what makes this program different from traditional courses.
The tuition is $3,999 for the 90 Day program. Startups and students qualify for a 37% discount and can also pay over 6 months. If you're attending as a team of 5 working on the same project, you qualify for a 20% discount.
Due to the high-touch nature of this program, we only accept a limited number of participants into each cohort. As a result, we have a no refunds policy once the program starts. This is why we ask you to carefully consider the program fit during the application process.
We understand that circumstances change and if you find that you need to defer your participation to a later cohort, we can move you one-time to the next available cohort.
People compare the learnings from this program to an accelerated MBA or accelerator program. MBAs cost tens of thousands of dollars. Accelerators typically take 5-7% of your company equity. Do the math yourself. If you're able to shed months off your idea validation (our promise), that also adds up to tens of thousands of dollars.
90DS-W2021 cohort - Applications open
First priority deadline: Tuesday, May 4th
Early decision deadline: Tuesday, June 8th
Regular decision deadline: Tuesday, July 6th
As this is a high-touch program, space is limited by coaching capacity and team fit. We give priority to early applicants who know they want to join 90-Day Startup and take action.
The benefits for applying in the first priority round is that (a) you get the highest priority for applying early, and (b) you get early access to all the pre-curriculum content and tools.
For early and regular applicants, you have a little more time to apply. Again, the sooner you apply, the sooner we can review your application and see how it fits into our overall cohort.
The coaching program is run 100% online using the LEANSTACK platform to deliver courses, tools, and livestream events. We also have coaches in (almost) every timezone region which means you can attend from anywhere.
We recommend allocating 10-15 hours a week.
We've put teams from South Africa to New Zealand through the program and all timezones are workable. We factor the timezones of students into the time selection for workshop events as much as possible. All events are also recorded with replays made available afterward. All 1:1 sessions are coordinated to mutually fit. Everything else is handled asynchronously over the LEANSTACK platform.
Yes. We partner with a number of accelerators who teach our playbooks in their programs and are happy to introduce you to investors if fund-raising is part of your goal.
