Program Details

WEEK 1: WHY IS NOW THE BEST TIME TO LAUNCH A STARTUP?

Contrary to popular belief, recessions are historically better times to start a company. Did you know that Uber, Airbnb, Microsoft, IBM, HP... were all started in a down market? In this talk, we'll focus on why that is and how to start by running lean.

WEEK 2: BUSINESS MODEL STRESS-TESTING

The goal of a startup is to build a repeatable and scalable business model before running out of resources. In this talk, you'll learn how to stress test your business model right at the ideation stage and bulletproof it against the most common pitfalls.

WEEK 3: ACHIEVING PROBLEM/SOLUTION FIT

While most entrepreneurs chase the all-elusive product/market fit, problem/solution fit is the first significant milestone that matters. This is when you go from hoping to knowing that customers will buy your product -- even before you build it. This talk walks you through the high-level process for achieving problem/solution fit in 90 days or less.

WEEK 4: MOVING FORWARD

This is a 2-hour Ask Me Anything (AMA) with Ash Maurya. He'll briefly recap the key takeaways from the series, preview next steps for taking action, and then answer all your questions.
